About the event
A central part of our company mission is to produce professional, artistically excellent experiences in which our artists are paid for their work. We believe that creating art is a worthy and necessary profession in our world, and we want to encourage our community to feel that art is a necessity in their lives.
By donating directly to counter/current:collective, you will singlehandedly be raising the artistic excellence here in the Midcoast. The more funding we can raise, the more those funds will directly flow into our productions which will provide a higher quality product for you to enjoy.

Season Sponsor: Season Sponsors support c/c:c by providing the funds needed to produce 3-4 professional, adventurous and thought-provoking theatre performances a season. We will be able to go bigger and bolder because of you! Season Sponsors receive up to 5 VIP tickets to each event we hold during the season they sponsor, as well as exclusive events like attending a rehearsal, dinner with the Co-Directors John and Courtney, and invitations to our Season Opener Party!
Show Sponsors support c/c:c by providing the funds needed to produce one of our adventurous and thought-provoking shows of our season! Show Sponsors receive up to 5 VIP tickets to Opening Night (or a performance of their choosing) of the show they Sponsored, plus invitations to be our guest at our Season Opener Party!
Performer Sponsors support c/c:c by providing the funds to pay our performers and support the fact that art is a necessity in our lives. Performer Sponsors receive 2 VIP tickets to a show of their choice over the season and have an opportunity to meet the cast in an exclusive behind the scenes experience, as well as 2 invitations to be our guest to our Season Opener Party!
Props and Costume Sponsors support c/c:c by providing the funds to make sure one of our adventurous and thought-provoking performances of the season looks extra polished! Our Props and Costume Sponsors will receive 2 VIP tickets to the show of their choice during the season they sponsor.
Marketing Sponsors provide c/c:c with the funds to be able to get the word out about our adventurous and thought-provoking shows through fun and exciting ways! Marketing Sponsors will receive an invitation to be our guest at our Season Opener Party!
Rhythm Sanctuary Sponsor supports c/c:c by providing the funds to pay for our space for one month of ecstatic dance so our community can come together, let go and find more joy! Rhythm Sanctuary Sponsors receive 2 tickets to be our guest at a Dance of their choice.
Theatre Lover Sponsors support c/c:c for any and all the little things that come up that need support when creating adventurous and thought-provoking professional theatre. Theatre Lover Sponsors receive 1 ticket to a show of their choice during the season they sponsor.
Community Ticket Sponsor supports c/c:c by providing the funds to purchase a ticket for a community member who may not otherwise be able to afford the necessity of theatre and dance in their lives.
